Catering Policies...

TABLES & CHAIRS Tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, flatware, etc. are an additional cost for off-premise catering. The venue you choose may provide tables and chairs. The final cost of rental equipment is subject to the selection of venue, specific menu and beverage service. Equipment and delivery charges vary depending on location. LABOR CHARGES Staff are billed by at a flat rate of $150 per employee for events up to seven hours. Events lasting longer than seven hours require an additional fee. GUEST COUNT The final guaranteed number of guests must be specified one week ahead of the function. Once received, this number may not be reduced. Final billing will be based on the guarantee, initial estimate, or the actual number of guests, whichever is greater. PAYMENT POLICY A 50% non-refundable deposit is necessary to confirm the catering contract. The balance is due seven business days prior to the function. Any adjustments are payable upon conclusion of the event. We accept checks (personal and business) made payable to BJW Inc., and major credit cards. CANCELLATION POLICY We understand there are, from time to time, circumstances that are beyond our control that force an event to be cancelled. Should this happen, please contact the Catering Director immediately to discuss the situation, and review options. In the event of cancellation by the client, Carriage House Catering must be notified in writing 10 business days in advance by the client that they will be canceling the event along with the reason of cancellation. Carriage House reserves the right to cancel due to Fire, Natural Disaster, Weather related (i.e. hurricanes, flooding, tornado or snow storm) which would make holding the event at the scheduled date and time hazardous for both guests and staff. SPECIAL MEALS Substitutions can be served in lieu of the entrée if requests are made by 12:00 (noon) seven business days prior to the function.
